Women, whose lives are connected to combat veterans of any era, know that the aftermath of war is a battle fought and won on the home front. Many of our returning veterans have experienced combat trauma and are dealing with the pain and confusion of Post-Traumatic stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Their wives, mothers and loved ones are deeply impacted by their war experiences. The aftermath of war is a battle fought and won on the home front.

Join us for a weekend retreat for wives, mothers, and all women touched by the lives and service of combat veterans. Understand combat trauma, PTSD and TBI. Rekindle hope, renew your strength, and find solutions!

Register for as low as $138 (+ tax). Includes full conference fee and all meals. Overnight packages and a limited number of scholarships are also available. There will also be Exhibitors and Vendors, including local support service providers, plus Hope for the Home Front and Military Ministry materials and merchandise will be available for purchase. This Retreat is limited to the first 100 who register, so contact Glen Eyrie today (800.944.4536) for more information or to register!

Get Involved!

It is our hope and prayer that you will consider partnering with us, attending the retreat (for restorative and/or informative purposes), and sharing this invitation with those whom you may know and who would benefit by attending.

We are also exploring the possibility of hosting retreats in the following geographic areas:

  • Virginia Beach
  • Fort Bragg – Fall 2011
  • Upper U.S. Northwest (N. California, Washington State, Oregon)
  • Fort Campbell
  • Fort Hood
  • San Diego
  • Hawaii

As you may appreciate, to organize a retreat of this nature and do it well, there is much groundwork to be laid and planning to be done. Help and assistance is needed in various ways at every location. Specifically, each retreat requires financial support, ‘boots on the ground’ retreat team development, planning, publicity, sponsorships, local care givers, childcare, hospitality, and so much more.

If you are interested in bringing this retreat to your area of the world, or in partnering with us, please Contact Us. We hope you will become a part of this informative and healing weekend!
