My friend bought the book for our entire PWOC board, and I think it absolutely had The Hand of God that she did. Wow! Then there were the heart wrenching parts that women who are married to soldiers tend to try to push to the back of their memories, so that they won't remember the heartache anytime soon. If the Army and the Navy (specifically) would supply your book to the chapels in question, women who are seeking a divorce or separation would refocus their efforts on Christ, and take the focus off the path that's most traveled. Finally, a book that explains the emotional and spiritual aspect of being a military wife and mother. It's easy to find books about moving in the military, or what types of insurance you need, or how to use the commissary, etc. or even coping with one-time deployments and separations. This book goes beyond that. I feel like Marshele Carter Waddell spoke to me directly and to my friends whose husbands are gone many months of each and every year.
